Wow! It sure has been a while since I've had a chance to post on here! SO much has happened!
Penny had her first litter, well, as a complete accident actually. Oscar got to her outside while I was away at an agility class. (Mark always teases me I'm never allowed to go to class again!). But we have some new rules set at home regarding girls in season :)
Anywho, she had 7 beautiful bundles of joy that I miss each and every day! All went into loving pet homes, with Mark's mother retaining the girl I felt was the best on a co-ownership. I get to visit her (Specter) often, and she is growing up nice!
In other news, Reign finished her AKC Championship and is doing well in agility class! She finished in style with Winners Bitch for a 5 Point Major at the SNBCC Specialty Show in Carson City, NV and then the following weekend taking WB/BOS over specials to finish!
Reign is excelling through agility classes at our local facility. Our next session will start up again at the end of January and we cannot wait to get back out there. She is doing so well and really enjoys it. We also just took Reign to get her hips and elbows done and will be awaiting OFA's results (though so far they look great!) :)

Placerville Shows
Last weekend we took our Reign out again for 3 days of shows in Placerville, CA. It ended up being quite a large entry with 11 bitches trying for the major, but the Open class did us in and we came home with the joy of practicing for a weekend *grin*. Here are a couple photos from the weekend. Ignore my very "serious" face in one of them... I was just about to move the dog and was listening to instructions from the judge.

It's been a while
Okay, I feel bad. It's been quite a while since I've posted a blog. I was going back and forth debating what was the best method of sharing news and updates with the public on our dogs. I thought that a webpage specifically for news on our website would be the answer. I have found that I hardly update the thing! Maybe the blog style method really is the best thing. For now, I will keep updating it and see if it works better. If so, we'll keep this permanently. Our website pages are always updated with the most up to date information anyways, so this is just for additional photos, etc. :)
I'm trying to think where we last left off. There has been so much! I guess I will just share random tidbits over the next few weeks and try to play catch up.
For now, here's Penny's new Champion win photo! She finished her championship earlier this month by taking WB for a 5 point major at the Utah Beehive circuit. We were so elated!

The joy of old photos
I recently went through all the photos on my harddrive. After so many years growing up along the Border Collie ring, I have gathered so many photos. It was such a joy seeing so many dogs of the past and present from years ago. Even since then I can see how much the breed has changed type, or style. I uploaded most of the photos to my facebook page, but have added a short example of some I have!

Litter Eval for Fallon BCs
This past Saturday myself and friend Jeanne (Celestria BC's) went to visit Pam and her Fallon BCs for a litter evaluation. I enjoy going to as many litter evaluations as I can of any breed. I feel like every time is such a great learning experience, and builds and develops more of a foundation for structure for myself. I have been helping at litter evals for years now and hope to do many more! One of the best parts about them is getting the chance to play with puppies and snap some photos.
This litter is Celestria's Warrior O' Tonalee PT (NZ/Aust/Am Ch Xmas-Cracker at Clan-Abby x Ch Tonalee's Highland Hope PT, FDCH) x Gr Ch Fallon's Silver Phantom (Ch Glentress Spell Bound NAJ x Ch Shoreland's Misty Moonlite). Enjoy!
